Located south of Waterford Mills, on the west side of State Road 15. Founded on the Azel Sparklin property. His wife, Elizabeth, died Nov 27, 1829 at age 32 and is the first burial made in this burying ground. It is also claimed to be the second oldest cemetery in the county. It is also said that some of the stones have been removed and others destroyed, thus it is unknown how many others may have been buried here. The Elkhart township trustee is in charge of keeping the grounds in good condition .
