Located on the south side of CR26, about 2/10 mile west of the Elkhart-laGrange county line. Founded on the Walter Eldridge farm, when his first wife, Polly Pence Eldridge died on March 26, 1838. She was carried across the field and placed on this knoll. Soon after, Rachel Larimer died, Aprill 15, 1838 and was also buried on this site.
Originally copied in 1979 and rechecked in 1986. Copied from East to West and rows from North to South. There are two drives which divide the cemetery.
Fred Eldridge, informed the first copier of this cemetery that there are 5 or 6 more graves in Row 18 which were never marked, between Margaret Foust and Sarah Myers. Some of them Eldridge family.
